The Story So Far - British Juggling Convention 2017
It's only eight months to go until April 7th comes and the British Juggling Convention is back for another year in the amazing city of Nottingham.
This year running for a full six days between April 7th and April 12th. Until then, we’re going to be using this blog to provide you with regular updates on the convention, and hopefully, get you excited enough to buy a ticket as soon as they go on sale. This year the BJC is being held at Harvey Hadden Sports Village, Nottingham. Anyone who’s been to a BJC in Nottingham will know that this means we have lots of space for juggling, workshops, traders and relaxation. It’s a truly incredible venue and we can’t wait to return to it.
The hall will be open 24/7 for all your juggling needs, and is surrounded by lots of amazing open, outdoor space for unicycling, workshops and even more juggling. The site has a café and bar, but we will also have our favourite vegetarian and waffle vans on site to give you the best range of delicious food. Over the next eight months, we’re going to be revealing lots of exciting information about the gala show, which is going to be as amazing as ever with some truly incredible acts. For now, we can let you know that we have and the whole array of shows planned for the convention, including; renegades, an open stage and a glow show. If you’re interested in helping out with BJC 2017, whether it’s volunteering on the day or helping us plan and prepare, you’re more than welcome to join our team of fabulous volunteers. You can get in touch with us through the Volunteer Page, but if you happen to be at Play Festival 2016, you can also find members of our team who will be more than willing to talk to you and welcome you to the fold. Until next time, keep juggling and spread the word that BJC is coming back to Nottingham!
